Quick answers

Where is today's puzzle?
On the home screen, at the top. It changes at midnight, your local time, and is the same for everyone.
I lost my streak / my progress.
Everything is stored on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes it; reinstalling starts fresh. There is no account to restore from, by design — nothing about you ever leaves the phone.
SLIDE: why did Undo or Restart cap me at two stars?
Undo, a hint, or a Restart after your first swipe caps the level at two stars, so a three-star solve always means a clean line. Reveal plays the solution, marks the level Shown and scores one star.
SEEKER: what does Hard change?
Hard names blind: no count of possible squares while you hunt, no Mist, and nothing shown when you name a square. To make up for it, Hard gives you four moves instead of three on the 9×9 board. The scoring is the same.
RANGE FINDER: what is par?
Par is what an informed guesser — played by the game, the same for everyone — would score on today's questions. Beating it is the daily win.
SUNDOWN: why won't the sun go back any further?
Time you have spent walking through a door or doing a chore is gone for the day, so the sun only moves forward from there. ↻ starts the day again from dawn.
A fact looks wrong.
Tell us the question and your source. Every question carries its source and the date it was true; we correct and credit.
Can I play on Android or the web?
Not yet. iPhone first.

HERD

How do I play?
You are the sheepdog. Tap a paw print to step; any sheep within two squares of you runs a step away, and a sheep left on its own walks back to the flock. Pen every sheep in the fold: par is the fewest moves possible, and matching it earns a rosette.
Where is today's field?
On Home, the largest card there. It changes at midnight, your local time, and is the same field on every phone. Your first finish is the day's result; finish a field you began on its own day to keep your streak. Days you missed wait in Past days, where they count as played late.
How do I start again?
Settings › Erase my progress erases every record and rosette, your daily results and your streak, and any field or lesson you are part-way through. Sound and haptics stay as they are. It cannot be undone.

For an app problem, say which iPhone and what happened. Settings › Contact support opens Mail addressed to us.

Fact Minefield

Fact Minefield is a free bank-or-risk trivia game, with three-round Quick Play and five-round Standard sessions. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

2,910 of 2,910 answers checked against their cited source, September 2026.

How do I protect my points?
Each round deals five truths and five traps from a larger set, so a board can play differently next time. Pick a truth to grow the pot, then Bank or try another answer. A trap loses only that round's unbanked points. Find all five truths for a Perfect Clear bonus.
How do I read an answer's explanation?
After the round ends, tap any answer tile to see its explanation and sources. You can also open the full answer review. Source websites need an internet connection; the game and explanations work offline.
Can I leave and resume?
Home keeps your current game available through Resume. Starting over asks for confirmation. If a save warning appears, keep the app open and choose Try saving again. Follow the recovery instructions if a saved game cannot be read. Restart keeps one previous game copy and does not erase all app data; Settings offers Restore previous game when that copy can be read.
How do I report an answer?
Open the answer's details after a round, then choose Report an answer. The preview includes the original question, answer, explanation, sources and app version. Add a correction and source if you have one, then Copy report or Open Mail. You choose whether to send; no saved game is attached automatically. Copy remains available if Mail is unavailable. Closing the preview discards your note in the app, but your clipboard or Mail may retain their own copies.
Where are help and settings?
Menu includes How to Play, Settings, Support and Privacy. Settings include sound, haptics, high contrast, reduced motion and larger text. Text size follows your iPhone settings. Settings › Erase local data removes your games, your record and your preferences from this iPhone, after you confirm. Support shows the app version when you contact us.

For an app problem, include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version and what happened. We do not need your saved game, passwords or private account information.
